I worked with Pauline Galiana a year ago to organized my home office. The architect who had previously renovated my apartment recommended Pauline, when I came back to him for more closets and shelves. The challenge was to pack a lot in my small space keeping it spacious (looking) for meetings with clients. Pauline achieved the double task of organizing the content and rearranging the furniture around, mostly using only my existing furniture and organizational accessories. The result came like the bright sun after a summer storm: the dark chaos of the room turned into to a serene space. Pauline literally opened up the space, creating a functional flow. She worked, quickly and energetically, from the larger view of the purpose and possibility of my office, too the detailed microscopic analysis of the content, respecting my work habits. She would emerge once in a while out of the piles of stuff, asking me singular questions about my work habits. Finally, she went around the all apartment looking for a decorative piece. She found a bunch of unused vases. Pauline arranged the vases on the window seal as if it was a sculpture. For me it was the extra cherry on the cake. I got it all at once, organizer, interior designer and the artistic touch. A year later, I found myself at ease keeping up with the organizational system.
